Number 1 Gallery is proud to present the panting series by Jessada Kongsommart, ‘The Countryside Story'. It is undeniable how the surrounding environment and backgrounds are the driven force behind many artists' creations. The exhibition “ The Countryside Story” is the consequence of the experience growing up in the remote rural district, where silence, peacefulness, simplicity and the relation between nature and the way of life can be found. Leading a humble and simple life, people make their living from agriculture and handicraft such as weaving products that are used in everyday life. These things are the cultural roots that have been passed on and instilled in his heart and soul. Jessada picks up his familiarity with this subject matter and conveys it into a series of painting of happiness and virtue existing in the remote rural precinct.
