Number 1 Gallery proudly presents Watchara Klakakhai’s very first solo exhibition, titled “Artists in My Heart”. He is a leading artist of Thailand who is well known and recognized for his portraitures, having produced numerous works for us to admire for quite some time now. This marks a great opportunity to view his artwork where he presents a number of artists he admires on canvas, illustrating very distinct and laudable results with integrity. Esteem and honor are given to important masters who’ve played significant roles in developing and influencing the arts scene in Thailand. This includes His Majesty the King, Professor Silpa Bhirasri, the establisher of contemporary art in Thailand, Tawan Dachanee, an artist who is recognized here and abroad, Chakrapan Posayakrit, a remarkably skillful painter known for the degree of details he instills in his work, and many others, amounting to more than 30 pieces.

Number 1 Gallery would like to invite everyone to join us for the official opening of the “Artists in My Heart” Exhibition on 30 November 2007 at 18.30, at Number 1 Gallery on the B1 floor of The Silom Galleria. The exhibition will run until Sunday 16 December 2007, every Mondays – Saturdays between the hours of 10.00 – 19.00.
