PICHAI NIRAND
(b. 1936)
Pichai Nirand
transforms Buddhist philosophy into a distinctive visual language of colour,
geometry, and symbolic form. Images of the lotus and the Buddha are
reinterpreted through radiant compositions that unite spiritual contemplation
with modern painting.
His works
explore faith, wisdom, and inner awakening, allowing traditional Buddhist
imagery to transcend representation and become a meditation on the relationship
between the material and spiritual worlds.
