“Life is broken, Kingdom is destroyed, The benefits of the person disappear, only Art that remains to be the evidence of human intelligence that will last forever” (Silpa Bhirasri)

This statement of Silpa Bhirasri makes us realize the value of Art which is the aesthetics through human creativity to express the emotions, feelings, and thoughts and it turns out to be the beauty, the impression, and the pleasure. As well as the traditions to the religious beliefs that Indicate psychological development and high intelligence which is valuable to life and society.

Number 1 Gallery would like to be a part in recording the story of the Covid-19 pandemics which is spreading worldwide right now by the creation of the exhibition HUMAN-19 This is the special collaboration between 7 artists : Kittisak Thapkoa, Nattiwut Choomanowat, Pat Yingcharoen, Prawit Lumcharoen, Tewaporn Maikongkeaw, Thunchanok Plakulsantikorn, Thinnapat Takuear. The artists together creating the artwork by using the story of Covid-19 Pandemic and express it in the different emotions and points of view.

Aside from reflecting the story that is happening and become a great lesson to learn right now, Art also helps us to keep up with our inner feelings and aware of the value of our surroundings at this time of the quarantine. The appreciation of Art will be a healer that will uplift everybody’s mind.

Kittisak Thapkoa : Today's society has significantly developed but human's behaviour is contrastingly has been worsen. For example, the pandemic that leads to a conflict that will be resulted in a lost. The artist therefore, took the buddhist's belief to be the guidance of his life to make him see through the truth and the uncertainty of life.

Nattiwut Choomanowat : The artist put forward the pictures of the celebrations of the ancient painting and separating characters to keep the space and avoid being close to each other for a while and brought strange stories that happened to those people who affected by this pandemic to present on the different point of view to reduce the stress on today’s situation.

Pat Yingcharoen : Since all the pandemic that used to happen in the past until the modern kinds pandemic, human still survives and held the race up until today. The reason is not that we can overcome the epidemic but it is actually because human is being able to adapt and learn to maintain self-negligence. Going back to consider the historical evidence our ancestors have recorded regarding past disasters can make us foreseen the ways to overcome it. Moreover, to record the history of the current pandemic is also the artist’s obligation to do so.

Prawit Lumcharoen : The world after Covid-19 will definitely be different. The terror fear of emerging diseases affects people’s routines and businesses to keep distance between each other in this Covid-19 situation. Technology is the hero to ease up the situation which is the challenge for humankind.

Tewaporn Maikongkeaw : While society is facing common problems, there are still inequities in society. There is still selfishness from human which is an unsolvable problem in today's society.

Thinnapat Takuear : While the diseases are spreading, at the same time, the evil of mankind also appears which is as bad as the diseases. Images that communicate in the futuristic approach, humans, evil, and selfishness.

Thunchanok Plakulsantikorn : The artist encourages to stop eating and stop buying wildlife to avoid the root cause of this pandemic and the spread of germs from animals to humans.
