Number 1 Gallery proudly to present the art exhibition “Road To Heaven” by Ekachai Luadsoongnern. More than 30 years, Ekachai Luadsoongnern the artist from Khonkaen on the road of the artist who creates the well-known impressionist works of Thailand. The works were inspired by traveling around the world and created by the beauty of nature by broadcasting impression to the places, time, lights, color, atmosphere which are different.

“Road to Heaven” sounds it seems comply with the meaning of what if prefer to get into heaven must see charming things.As proverb in northeast part of Thailand “If you wanted to get into heaven, you should took the clothes off before enter the temple” which means if you wanted to get into heaven you must release whatever things that occurred your original the purest minds. Those can be compared as the clothing covers the bodies such as love, greed, anger, lust, figure, scent, sounds and sense. Then, enter the temple for learning doctrine, practicing the dharma as the formal in respect of Buddhism. It’s the way to heaven of Nirvana. However, in the artist point of view, that’s the way of exquisite and sensitive of nature that artwork was creating process, appreciated artwork by approach purity without any prestige and prejudice. This will leads you to fulfillment of the divine mind, discipline people reach this state of mind perfectly, to joy regarded as the 1^st stage of heaven.

This paintings series were created while he was traveling to Europe, China, and his hometown Phu Wiang, Khonkaen during 2001 – 2012 which the artist has memorized the beautiful from his impression along the way and the dwell of his journey according to the outstanding characteristic of the artist, Ekachai Luadsoongnern who was well-known as the number 1 beautiful hunter of Thailand in the style of impressionism.

All the works will exhibit at Number 1 Gallery, the benefits of this exhibition will participate making merit by constructing the arch of Baan Nhong Na Kum Temple (former Phu Wiang district) in Khon kaen. Artist and Number 1 Gallery may invite you to see and collect the valuable work, at the same time felicitations merit with this exhibition.
