Channarong Daengpakham

Channarong Daengpakham (b. 1997)

Channarong Daengpakham’s practice examines the changing relationship between humanity and the natural world. Through richly layered figurative paintings, he depicts animals, vegetation, and landscapes transformed by human desire, belief, and material intervention.

 

His works blur the boundaries between the organic and the artificial. Skeletons, reconstructed bodies, and manufactured environments reveal nature not as an untouched wilderness, but as a living system continually altered, classified, and controlled by human civilisation.

 

Balancing beauty with unease, Channarong questions the assumption that humanity stands at the centre of existence. His paintings invite viewers to reconsider power, responsibility, and the possibility of coexistence within an increasingly fragile ecological world.

ผลงานของชาญณรงค์ แดงปะคำ สำรวจความสัมพันธ์ที่กำลังเปลี่ยนแปลงระหว่างมนุษย์กับธรรมชาติ ผ่านจิตรกรรมรูปธรรมที่ซ้อนทับด้วยรายละเอียดของสัตว์ พืชพรรณ และภูมิทัศน์ซึ่งถูกแปรเปลี่ยนจากความปรารถนา ความเชื่อ และการแทรกแซงทางวัตถุของมนุษย์

 

ผลงานของเขาทำให้เส้นแบ่งระหว่างสิ่งมีชีวิตกับสิ่งประดิษฐ์พร่าเลือน โครงกระดูก ร่างกายที่ถูกประกอบสร้างขึ้นใหม่ และสภาพแวดล้อมที่มนุษย์ผลิตขึ้น เผยให้เห็นว่าธรรมชาติมิใช่พื้นที่บริสุทธิ์ซึ่งปราศจากการแตะต้อง หากเป็นระบบที่มีชีวิตและถูกมนุษย์ปรับเปลี่ยน จำแนก และควบคุมอยู่เสมอ

 

ด้วยการวางความงามเคียงคู่กับความไม่สงบ ชาญณรงค์ตั้งคำถามต่อความเชื่อที่ว่ามนุษย์เป็นศูนย์กลางของสรรพสิ่ง และเชื้อเชิญให้ผู้ชมทบทวนเรื่องอำนาจ ความรับผิดชอบ และความเป็นไปได้ของการอยู่ร่วมกันภายในโลกธรรมชาติที่เปราะบางมากขึ้นทุกขณะ
