Frozen Era

Childhood toys sealed beneath a mass of ice, as if time has stood still and memories of the past cannot return.

Frozen Era conveys the concept of "frozen memories" by Thinnapat Takuear through his paintings of toy dinosaurs. These plastic objects, representing once-living beings from the prehistoric world, are trapped within a heavy, 
translucent mass of ice, akin to an attempt to "stop time" to preserve the beauty of memories that have been concealed and distorted over time. At the same time, the objects within also reflect the artificiality of nature, symbolizing 
the modern world created by humans to heal loss and soothe the mind.

Frozen Era does not only address the extinction of past life forms but also invites the audience to question the 
relationship between time, memory, and the fragility of existence, all of which are in a state of inevitable change 
and disappearance.

Frozen Era ถ่ายทอดแนวคิด “ความทรงจำที่ถูกแช่แข็ง” โดย ทินพัฒน์ ทาเครือ ผ่านผลงานจิตรกรรมไดโนเสาร์ของเล่น 
วัตถุพลาสติกซึ่งเป็นตัวแทนสิ่งที่เคยมีชีวิตจากโลกยุคดึกดำบรรพ์ ถูกกักขังภายในมวลน้ำแข็งโปร่งแสงอันหนักอึ้ง เปรียบเสมือนการพยายาม “หยุดเวลา” เพื่อเก็บรักษาความงดงามของความทรงจำที่ถูกปกปิดและบิดเบือนตามกาลเวลา ขณะเดียวกัน 
วัตถุภายในยังสะท้อนความเทียมแทนของธรรมชาติ อันเป็นภาพแทนของโลกสมัยใหม่ที่มนุษย์สร้างขึ้นเพื่อเยียวยาความสูญเสียและปลอบประโลมจิตใจ

Frozen Era จึงมิได้กล่าวถึงเพียงการสูญพันธุ์ของสิ่งมีชีวิตในอดีต หากยังชวนผู้ชมตั้งคำถามถึงความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างเวลา 
ความทรงจำ และความเปราะบางของการดำรงอยู่ ซึ่งล้วนอยู่ในภาวะของการเปลี่ยนแปลงและเลือนหายอย่างไม่อาจหลีกเลี่ยง
