A story enveloped in dreamy tones and atmosphere, a space that cannot be defined as beauty or imperfection, 
day or night, a harsh reality or the brightness of imagination.

Number 1 Gallery proudly presents the exhibition "Reality or Dreams" by Natthawut Thammarueangrit. This exhibition opening a space for viewers to discover meaning from their own experiences and imaginations without boundaries. Through oil paintings created with sweet tones, dreamlike and surreal atmospheres, and scenes and compositions that appear beautiful, yet hide personal stories of the artist, as well as events in the country, deforestation, losses from wars, and more, the works reveal symbols such as toys, miniature houses from ruins, and small elements like stones, 
hourglasses, or even attempts to recreate childhood drawings with colored pencils. All of these highlight that what is important may not be the answer to whether what is in front of us is reality or just a dream, but rather the openness 
of perspective we choose to have toward those things. Because imagining a beautiful ideal world sometimes means questioning the imperfect world that we live in.

นัมเบอร์วันแกลลอรี่ ร่วมด้วยศิลปิน ณัฐวุฒิ ธรรมเรืองฤทธิ์ นำเสนอนิทรรศการ Reality or Dreams เปิดพื้นที่ให้ผู้ชมค้นพบความหมายจากประสบการณ์และจินตนาการของตนเองอย่างไร้ขอบเขต ผ่านผลงานจิตรกรรมสีน้ำมันที่สร้างสรรค์ด้วยโทนสี
แสนหวาน บรรยากาศชวนฝัน เหนือจริง ฉากและการจัดองค์ประกอบที่ดูเหมือนจะสวยงาม แต่กลับซ่อนไว้ซึ่งบางเรื่องราว
จากประสบการณ์ส่วนตัวของศิลปิน ตลอดจนเหตุการณ์บ้านเมือง การตัดไม้ทำลายป่า ความสูญเสียจากสงคราม และอื่น ๆ ผ่านสัญญะที่ปรากฏในผลงาน เหล่าตุ๊กตาของเล่น บ้านจำลองจากซากปรักหักพัง รวมไปถึงองค์ประกอบเล็ก ๆ อย่างก้อนหิน นาฬิกาทราย หรือแม้แต่การพยายามสร้างรอยขีดเขียนของดินสอสีเพื่อเลียนแบบการวาดเส้นในวัยเด็ก ทั้งหมดนี้ล้วนแล้วแต่ชี้ให้เห็นว่า สิ่งสำคัญอาจไม่ใช่คำตอบของสิ่งที่ปรากฏอยู่เบื้องหน้าว่าคือความจริงหรือเป็นเพียงฝัน แต่ขึ้นอยู่กับการเปิดกว้างทางมุมมองที่เราเลือกจะมีต่อสิ่งเหล่านั้น เพราะการจินตนาการถึงโลกที่สวยงามตามอุดมคติ บางครั้งอาจหมายถึงการตั้งคำถาม
ต่อโลกซึ่งไม่สมบูรณ์แบบที่เราอาศัยอยู่
