When humans are defined and controlled by social structures and traditions that have been passed down, 
these influences create various oppressive ways of being human.

Number1Gallery proudly presents the exhibition "Non-Harmony" by Jiranchai Ninthanaphant. This exhibition invites viewers to explore the ways and conditions in which being yourself can refer to expressing freedom, negotiating, and challenging the old tradition. Does difference become an obstacle for some people, or is it merely a covering for human fragility?

"Non-Harmony" is the exhibition that reflects the coexistence of harmony and conflict through the aesthetic of 
ancient paintings, adding distorted patterns along with the concept that "beauty and discontinuity can coexist 
at the same time." This is challenging to normal perceptions and conveys a conflicted atmosphere from the 
"ways-conditions," a structure that oppresses daily life, as well as different expressions aimed at breaking down traditional norms.


เมื่อผู้คนต่างถูกกำหนดขอบเขตและทิศทางจากโครงสร้างสังคม ตลอดจนขนบเดิมซึ่งถูกส่งทอดให้เกิดเป็นวิถี-สภาวะต่าง ๆ

ร่วมสำรวจถึงวิถี-สภาวะ เมื่อการเป็นตัวของตัวเอง อาจหมายถึงการแสดงออกทางเสรีภาพ เสมือนการต่อรองและท้าทาย
ต่อระบบระเบียบเดิม ความแตกต่างสำหรับคนบางกลุ่มกลับกลายเป็นภาระที่ต้องแบกรับไว้หรือไม่ หรือเป็นเพียง
เปลือกห่อหุ้มความเปราะบางของมนุษย์เท่านั้น

นิทรรศการ "Non-Harmony" จึงสะท้อนการอยู่ร่วมกันของความกลมกลืนและความขัดแย้ง ผ่านกลิ่นอายผลงาน
จิตรกรรมโบราณ เพิ่มแทรกจังหวะผิดเพี้ยนลงไปร่วมกับแนวคิดว่า "ความงามอาจดำรงอยู่ร่วมกับความไม่ราบรื่นได้
ในเวลาเดียวกัน" เพื่อท้าทายการรับรู้ที่ต่างไปจากเดิมและแฝงบรรยากาศแรงเสียดทานจาก วิถี-สภาวะ อันเป็นโครงสร้าง
ที่กดทับในชีวิตประจำวัน ตลอดจนการแสดงออกที่ต่างออกไปเพื่อทลายขนบวิถีเดิม
