Love, greed, anger, delusion — these are the hidden depths within, and humans cannot escape them.
These elements cannot exist in isolation; they flow, overlap, and continuously transform. They do not merely appear temporarily like fleeting emotions, but are internal drives that subtly shape perception and distort 'truth,' as well as the context of contemporary society. These biases are pushed to become the 'norm of humanity' amidst a mind
that keeps moving repeatedly in every moment of life, creating a cycle of distorted perception that operates in
an endless loop without a beginning.
“The Four Distortions of Judgment,” the latest solo exhibition by Jakkapong Thapkoa, serves as a space for
profound self-reflection. It also emphasizes the importance of mindfulness and wisdom in recognizing
internal drives, avoiding attachment to societal stimuli or illusions, and preventing actions that lead to suffering.
This leads to a meaningful life and, to some extent, a release from the cycle of liberation.

สิ่งเหล่านี้ไม่อาจดำรงอยู่อย่างแยกขาด หากแต่ไหลเวียน ทับซ้อน และแปรเปลี่ยนกันอย่างต่อเนื่อง ไม่เพียงปรากฏขึ้น
อย่างชั่วคราวดั่งห้วงอารมณ์ หากแต่เป็นแรงขับภายในที่คอยกำหนดการรับรู้ และบิดเบือน ‘ความจริง’ อย่างแนบเนียน ตลอดจนบริบทของสังคมร่วมสมัย ผลักให้อคติเหล่านี้กลับกลายเป็น ‘ความปกติของมนุษย์’ ท่ามกลางจิตที่ยังคงเคลื่อนไหว
ซ้ำแล้วซ้ำเล่าในทุกขณะของการดำเนินชีวิต ก่อเกิดเป็นวงจรของการรับรู้ที่ผิดเพี้ยน ดำเนินวัฏจักรอย่างไร้จุดเริ่มต้น
และวกวนไม่รู้จบ
“The Four Distortions of Judgment” นิทรรศการเดี่ยวครั้งล่าสุดของ จักรพงษ์ เทพเกาะ จึงเสมือนพื้นที่แห่งการ
ใคร่ครวญตนเองอย่างลึกซึ้ง อีกทั้งย้ำเตือนความสำคัญของสติและปัญญาในการตระหนักเท่าทันแรงขับภายใน ไม่ลุ่มหลง
ไปกับสิ่งเร้าหรือภาพลวงของสังคม เพื่อยับยั้งการกระทำที่ก่อให้เกิดความทุกข์ นำไปสู่การดำรงชีวิตอย่างมีความหมาย
กระทั่งการคลี่คลายออกจากวัฏจักรในระดับหนึ่งของการหลุดพ้น
